What makes you feel infinite?

Ezra Miller had a great response to this question in the live Q&A chat with Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Stephen Chbosky. But we’re still curious to that one time/moment/day that you felt infinite.

Why Was Harry Potter Star Emma Watson “Nervous” Making Perks of Being a Wallflower? (via eonline)

Emma Watson is ready to leave Harry Potter behind.

No, she’s not hating on the megasuccessful movie franchise that brought her fame and fortune, but…

She can’t wait for Potter fans to see The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a coming-of-age drama that marks her first starring role post-Harry.

“I think Harry Potter fans will love it because it has so much heart, like the Harry Potter stories do,” Watson, 22, told me yesterday at the MTV Movie Awards. “I feel like it’s the perfect transition from Harry Potter to kind of a more adolescent movie. It’s a little bit of an older tone. It’s darker.”

In the flick, Logan Lerman plays a shy high school freshman who is befriended by two seniors, Sam (Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller).

In one scene, Watson performs a dance routine from The Rocky Horror Picture Show in skimpy lingerie. “I was very nervous to that stuff,” she said. “It was tough.”

She was also nervous about doing her first American accent. “I really wanted to get that right,” Watson said. “But Logan and Ezra were very instructive. If I ever said anything that sounded weird, they were like, ‘That’s not right!’ and we would fix it.”

Costar Johnny Simmons said the movie might never have been made without Watson attached. “She read the book and became obsessed with it,” said Simmons, 25. “She heard they were making the movie and approached them about it. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her.”

And all the books you’ve read have been read by other people. And all the songs you’ve loved have been heard by other people. And that girl that’s pretty to you is pretty to other people. And you know that if you looked at these facts when you were happy, you would feel great because you are describing “unity”.

It’s like when you are excited about a girl and you see a couple holding hands, and you feel so happy for them. And other times you see the same couple, and they make you so mad. And all you want is to always feel happy for them because you know that if you do, then it means you’re happy, too.“

‘Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ Trailer:
Five Things We Still Want To See
(via mtv)

Despite the decided lack of pot brownies and milkshakes, the 2012 MTV Movie Awards was a coming-out party for the ages for “Perks of Being a Wallflower.”

Castmembers Logan LermanEmma Watson and Ezra Miller were on hand for the first time as a cast to debut the trailer for their upcoming adaptation, based on Stephen Chbosky’s 1999 novel (published by MTV Books).
“Perks” follows introverted high school freshman Charlie (Lerman), who slowly emerges from his insular world with the help of seniors Sam (Watson) and Patrick (Miller).
The first look is full of pivotal moments familiar to fans of the novel, including Charlie’s first-ever party, the bloody cafeteria brawl and goose-bump-inducing tunnel scene. But, of course, there were also plenty of things we didn’t get a glimpse at, so we’ve compiled our list of moments we’re still lusting after. (Spoilers ahead if you haven’t read the book!)

First Meeting
In one of the trailer’s more lighthearted moments, we see Charlie attend a high school football game with enthusiastic Patrick. (“Be aggressive! Passive aggressive!”) What we don’t see, however, is when, moments later, Charlie’s soon-to-be crush (and Patrick’s stepsister) introduces herself to Charlie. It’s simple (no cheesy meet-cute here!), but pivotal nonetheless.

The Gift
With the help of his English teacher (Paul Rudd), Charlie discovers a love of writing, and he thinks he might want to be a writer when he grows up. But what’s a writer without something to write on? Hence, the heartfelt Christmas gift of a typewriter (it is the ’90s, after all) from Sam, who isn’t even his secret Santa!

The Other Girl
Despite being a wallflower, Charlie seems to attract his fair share of attention from the ladies. Though his unrequited love for Sam still burns bright, he accidentally falls into his first relationship with another girl — the eccentric Mary Elizabeth (Mae Whitman). The pair’s dynamic is uneven at best, and their awkward encounters provide a bit of levity to the narrative.

The Kiss
It isn’t their first (Sam gives Charlie his first smooch earlier in the story), but it is their most intense. As the two discuss the nature of love (“We accept the love we think we deserve,” Charlie tells Sam), the pair finally disclose their true feelings for each other, which leads to a steamy, yet ultimately distressing moment in Sam’s room, which Lerman didn’t seem to mind. “It happened in front of a crew, and people were there, and we did it a few times. And that was it,” Lerman told MTV News at the Movie Awards. “It’s kind of odd when you’re doing it for a movie. It’s kind of weird. She’s cool. It wasn’t as awkward as it could have been. It’s Emma Watson, so I’m a lucky guy.”

Nina Dobrev
“Perks” boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Dylan McDermott and Kate Walsh, but we’re eager to see more of “Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev, who had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment in the trailer. Dobrev plays Charlie’s older sister Candace, who’s hiding her own secret about her boyfriend, and we’re itching to see what she does with the role.
